Renting a bike costs on average 8 euro per day. You can also travel by bus. If you plan to use the train or bus reguraly while staying in the Netherlands, we recommend buying an ‘anonymous OV-chipkaart’ (which can also be used on trams and metros). Your OV-chipkaart is activated as soon as you have topped up its balance and used it to travel with NS. This can be done at an NS ticketing machine. If you want to travel by train, you need at least 20 euros worth of balance on your OV-chipkaart! You use the card to check in and check out. For more information, please check this website.
