Regional development plan
The Lublin Master Class 2007 was devoted to the Polish regional capital Lublin (360.000 inhabitants). A group of eight Polish and Dutch senior professionals developed a strategic development agenda for the city. This agenda included the repositioning of industrial and residential zones, the redevelopment of Lublins green valley, a strategic plan for a more integrated knowledge industry and suggestions for innovative mobility concepts.
Based on the results of this Master Class Stadslab was asked to organise a second Master Class program in 2008 to further investigate the concept of Lublin as a City of Students, integrating its major university community with new economic activities.
