This leads to a global mix of participants collaborating over a variety of assignments and courses. The program is, due to its wide range of law, business and economics courses, suitable for students from different disciplines who want to have a career in business. The mixture of students and highly involved lecturers, result into a small-scale community with mutual interest in business consulting. The combined focus on content and future-proof business skills, lets students really experience business and learn how to create chances for their future career..
‘Learning to take action’ not only includes business knowledge, but also social commitment, the courage to voice critical opinions and respect for other cultures. Students will be expected to use the analytical competencies that they will acquire to solve ‘real case’ problems effectively. They will do this in internationally oriented groups, as to benefit from intercultural collaborations and different views on solving actual business challenges.

You can attend this programme in the Fall or Spring semester. Our aim is to assist you in developing your professional and social competencies for a successful professional career. The intensive programme focuses on processes and people in all kind of organisations. As such, we will provide you with an international learning environment and with intensive contacts with professionals. Furthermore, we will aim to orientate you towards the profile specifications of an international consultant. Exchange students are expected to have a good command of English. It is not compulsory to provide us with a Proof of English proficiency.
Applications should always be submitted via the International Exchange (or Erasmus) Officer at the home university. If several versions of the programme are offered, please indicate for which version you would like to apply to (Programme I, Programme II, Programme III, etc.) This officer will send your application request (nomination) to Fontys. Once Fontys has accepted the application, your Fontys study department will send you a link to a web application called Mobility Online. Added to the link you will receive all necessary information and a manual. Please take a look at this website to see how it works.

Spring semester | 15 November |
Fontys will provide you with a so-called ‘Transcript of Records’, which will clarify the results that you have achieved. Depending on your results, you will receive a maximum of 30 ECTS credits. ECTS credits are recognized throughout Europe. The agreement between your home university and Fontys University of Applied Sciences will usually include a condition whereby the credits that you obtain will be recognized and transferred into the records kept by your home university.
