More about Academy of Music and Performing Arts

At the Academy of Music and Performing Arts (AMPA), highly qualified musicians train students to become musicians. Studying at AMPA means learning to play an instrument at a professional level and becoming familiar with the broad domain of music. Students will be trained to become instrumentalists, music teachers, singers or conductors and they may select from the specialisations, Instrumentals / Vocals (Classical or Jazz & Pop Music), Music Theatre, Conducting, Composing, or Teaching Music.

The programme will focus heavily on future professional practice. The musical sense of hearing will be trained intensively and students will acquire a wealth of experience in a variety of ensembles and orchestras.
