Starting your studies

When starting your studies at Fontys, it is nice to know when we expect to meet you on campus for the first time and what you will experience in the first months at Physiotherapy.

The new academic year starts in September... But before your studies start, you'll first take part in the introduction week. That's Purple 2023! During this introduction week (Monday 21 to Friday 25 August 2023), getting to know each other is key. That means that between the induction week and the start of the academic year there is a tuition-free week. More information will follow soon!

After the introduction week, we will start the academic year from Monday 04 September 2023. More information will follow as soon as this is known.

As a student at Fontys Fontys University of Applied Sciences, you are in charge of your own study career from day one. In the context of this personal control, you also enrol for each educational module. This means that you actively register for the first module just before the start of the academic year.You can enrol for Module 1 from 1 July 2023 and do so before the 24th of August 2023.
