You get to know your fellow students and meet new people from around the world. You will be introduced to your study programme, the university, and the city of Eindhoven.

Programme
Below you can see all the activities in which you will participate:

International students are invited to join us at the Fontys campus for diploma validation and to meet other international students. You will also receive an introduction to important facilities for international student life, such as the International Desk and Student Help Center. At the end of the day, we will gather for a drink together.
(ALL INCOMING ICM STUDENTS)
Today is the day! You will be divided into introduction groups to meet your fellow classmates. Afterwards, you will meet your teachers and mentors and become familiar with the Fontys building. We will have lunch together with students from another international study programme (International Business), participate in a fun sports activity, and have the option to join a beer cantus in the city center of Eindhoven.

Get ready for an exciting day! We will host a Crazy88 game in the city center of Eindhoven. You’ll explore local sites with your introduction group and have a great time completing challenges and making new friends. Afterwards, we will head to a BBQ and join a pub tour on the famous street Stratumseind.

On Thursday, we will attend the Fontys Purple Festival! Enjoy fun games, drinks, food, and music with all Fontys students in the Netherlands! Bond with your classmates and meet other students from all over the country!

To end our Intro Week on a high note, you can choose to join an optional BBQ with all international Fontys students. Enjoy good food, drinks, and bond with your fellow students.
Fontys Welcome Party
On August 25th, from 4PM to 8PM, Fontys organises a Welcome party. This event is all about getting to know fellow international students. From 4 PM to 8 PM the campus sites will be filled with conversations, info and 'gezelligheid' as the Dutch would say. We would like to invite you to the Fontys Welcome Party!

Costs to participate
Participating in the Welcome Party will cost nothing but please register so we know the numbers for the groceries.

Please let us know if you will join this event before August 18th. You can do this by registration. The QR code on the flyer (see link below) on the left is the link to register for one free ticket per student. Scan the QR code or use the direct link.

Photos and videos
During this introduction week, many photos and videos will be made. They will include selfies and videos made by students on mobile phones as well as photos and videos made by professional photographers. By participating in this introduction week you automatically agree that these photos and/or videos are being published (i.a. social media, flyers, ads and websites).
