Agenda

  • My schedule

You will receive your schedule during the introduction week. In the first week your schedule will be published online.

    How to read your schedule

The schedule lists which subjects you will follow where, at what time you are expected, and who's the lecturer. Each block starts with an abbreviation for the teaching activity (MinorSIC), the initials of the name of the lecturer (Tan), the teaching location: the building and room number (R5 0.34). Each block ends with the type of lesson (kick-off, Cgame, info, etcetera).

    The locations

At Fontys all buildings have a name. International Communication Management is located at campus Rachelsmolen. On this campus, all buildings start with an 'R'. Most lectures take place in building R3 or R4.

The room numbers start with the floor the classroom is on. For instance, room 0.34 is on the ground floor and room 1.21 is on the first floor.

So room number R4 1.21. is in building R4 on the first floor.

  • Exam weeks
The academic year consists of four periods of 10 weeks. Each period starts with 8 weeks of education. At the end of week 8 you have to complete your final products. In week 9 exams for the knowledge subjects take place. The exams consist of 60 multiple choice questions and a case study. You must score a minimum of 5.5 for both components to pass the exam. If you would fail for an exam, you have the opportunity to take the resit in the exam week of the next period.
