Get to know your course and make friends for life
You get to know your fellow students and meet friends for life. You will be introduced to your study programme and study city. You will eat together, discover the city together, get to know each other and the study programme, make memories together and much more... What that will look like, what you need, where you need to be, who you can contact, you can find all that here! We will make it a fantastic week, of course within the Corona rules.

Keep in mind: Some events take place before the official Introduction week.
Come meet your fellow students and the building where you will study. In R10 you will be welcomed by Proxy students that guide you through the building. There are several activities that you can participate with. Amongst other activities, you can experience VR, game against your peers and much more!

Get some drinks, socialize with your friends, and have fun at this local pub. Stratum’s eind (the street that hosts this pub) is known for being the longest pub street in the Netherlands! There will be discount on non-alcoholic drinks.

It is summertime, what better way to experience the great weather then by spending it in a park with your peers. You are encouraged to bring food from your home country to share with everyone! Proxy will bring sports equipment for a friendly competition.

What should you bring: Bring your own food and drinks. Do not forget to bring enough water bottles.
Are you interested in practicing your favourite sport? Or perhaps pick up a new sport while you are here? On Monday we will visit the student sport centre at the TU/e which provides affordable sports opportunities for Fontys students. There will be a guided tour of the facilities and you can practice a select few sports, so bring/wear clothes you can sport in!

Celebrate the start of your educational journey with fellow students from other Fontys studies. You travel by bus from Fontys to the festival where you stay until the end of the festival. You can travel back by bus.

The Introduction Day
On August 26th, from 4PM to 8PM, Fontys organizes the Introduction Day. This event is all about getting to know fellow international students. From 4 PM to 8 PM the campussites will be filled with conversations, info and 'gezelligheid' as the Dutch would say. We would like to invite you to the Fontys Introduction Day!
Be aware that this is a Fontys event and not a study or institute-specific event!
Costs to participate
Participating in the International day will cost you only 5 euros. In return for that, you will get food from the BBQ and 3 drinks!
