FAQ

It is expected that the current restrictions on the opening up of buildings and the provision of physical education will apply for a longer period of time. We therefore assume a blended-learning offer, a mix of physical and online education. This mix may vary per training course. When distributing the possibilities for physical education, priority is given to the first-year students because of their connection with the course.

The Purple Introweek takes place from Monday 24 August to Thursday 27 August 2020. The programme starts with a physical introduction to fellow students and teachers at a Fontys location. There an intro group (including intro parents) is formed to go further online from there. The online Purple Introweek consists of a range of digital activities. Think of a Fontys TV/YouTube channel and also the Purple CafĂ©. Later in the week the students will meet physically again when you are given the opportunity to 'really experience' the city where you are going to study. Purple's partners (municipalities, associations, other institutions) offer a programme both in the Klokgebouw in Eindhoven and in the Spoorzone in Tilburg, where small groups (dosed admission, e.g. per mentor group) can get to know student life and the city quickly and with the right experience. We aim to have the programme for the Purple Introweek ready by the end of June.

No, every course has a content programme on campus and online during the week through MS teams. You and your class will also visit the experience in Eindhoven, Venlo or Tilburg that week. So a lot will take place online

During the introduction week a lot of photos and videos will be made. Ranging from selfies and videos on a mobile phone by fellow students to photos and videos by professional photographers and filmmakers. By participating in the introduction week you agree that the photos and/or videos will be published (on social media, flyers, advertisements and websites).
