Why Fontys?

Since I was in secondary school I was dreaming about studying abroad. When the time finally came to decide where I wanted to go, I chose the Netherlands and Fontys. Fontys is a great university of applied sciences, with a strong brand image and international recognition. It offers a practical-based learning process, internships and a minor. Which is exactly what I was looking for when I was searching for a university abroad. Fontys offers opportunity to learn, grow and meet new people from different countries.

Do you have some tips for new students?

The decision to choose Fontys and to study abroad can be one of the best decisions of your life! Don't be afraid of the unknown, face it bravely and be proud of who you are because not everyone has an opportunity to study abroad and not everyone has the strength to do it. Start building your career now and form your future.

Anything you want to add?

The first few weeks of living in The Netherlands could be a bit difficult, but believe in this process and in yourself. With time passing all will become better: you will find great friends, get to know the city, learn where the best parties are and where you can eat a great burger. Don't be afraid that you don't know the Dutch language, it is normal, no one knows this language in the beginning. But it is fine, you can still succeed.
