Tuition fees

EEA students 2017-2018 / 2018-2019

A distinction is made between statutory tuition fees and institutional tuition fees. Only if you satisfy all statutory requirements regarding your nationality and if you have not yet been awarded a degree, you will be eligible for statutory tuition fees. Please note that expenses relating to books and readers are not included in the tuition fees.

- Tuition fees for 2017-2018 are € 2006,-
- Tuition fees for 2018-2019 are € 2060,-

*EEA students = students from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland*, The Netherlands and/or the United Kingdom) *NB while Switzerland is not in the EEA, Swiss nationals have the same rights as EEA nationals.

Non-EEA students

  • 2017 - 2018

Non-EU/EEA students who enrol in the 2017 – 2018 academic year as Bachelor degree programme students at Fontys University of Applied Sciences have to pay tuition fees of € 6.500.

  • 2018 - 2019

Non-EU/EEA students who enrol in the 2018 – 2019 academic year as Bachelor degree programme students at Fontys University of Applied Sciences have to pay tuition fees of € 7.500.

Note: Non-EU/EEA students who enrol in the 2018 - 2019 academic year as Bachelor degree programme students in the field of Engineering, I(C)T or Arts at Fontys University of Applied Sciences have to pay tuition fees of € 9.600.

Exception:

  • Students who are eligible for Dutch Loan scheme (student loans and/or grants) are also eligible to pay tuition fees of € 2.006 - (academic year 2017-2018) as required by Dutch law. This must be requested by the students in question and specific documentation will be required.
  • Students who are eligible for Dutch Loan scheme (student loans and/or grants) are also eligible to pay tuition fees of € 2.060 - (academic year 2018-2019) as required by Dutch law. This must be requested by the students in question and specific documentation will be required.
