After your application to the Master of Music, you will be invited for an audition and an interview. The video audition forms the core of your admission to the program. In addition, all applicants must submit a personal development plan, sketching their professional plans for the upcoming years of study.

Only after admission to the Master of Music (so after the audition) you have to send documents like diplomas and if applicable (languages) certificates. So ignore the request of Studielink!

In this overview you can find the admission requirements per main subject. You have to prepare a video audition and submit a personal development plan. Besides that it's a possibility that you will be invited for an (online) interview.

Candidates for Music Theater will do an online audition first. After this preselection only selected candidates will advance to the live audition, which will be held on the 30th or 31st of May in Tilburg. Candidates must provide their own musical accompaniment. If you need help with this, we can recommend some names, please contact fhkmom@fontys.nl. The application deadline is the 9th of May.

In this overview (download overview) you find the requirements concerning diploma & language.
Prerequisite for admission is a Bachelor of Music degree or equivalent and the nationality (outside European Union).
Non-EU students who do not yet meet the requirements of the Master’s program, but who can be expected to develop their skills within a reasonable amount of time to reach the appropriate level, may be accepted to the Pre-Master, a preparatory year. During the Pre-Master, students follow intensive lessons in preparation of the first year of the Master. The decision to accept a student to the preparatory year will be communicated to the student after the audition.

Deadline documents

Once admitted, you will be requested to send a proof of the English language requirement (except in abovementioned cases), a certified copy and official translation in English of your original bachelor diploma and grades list.
Note for Non-EU students: make sure you prepare your documents before May 1. 

Deadline EU/EEA-students

For EU students the deadline is July 1 (including a proof of the English language requirement when the English language skills were not sufficient during the intake).

Deadline Non-EU students

For non-EU students the deadline is April 1 (to arrange the visa in time).
