One of the most important decisions to be made by an aspiring student is to select the best option with regard to further education. It is possible to select from the wide range on offer in your own country, or you may prefer to broaden your horizons and explore the options for a suitable course in a foreign country. Having international learning experience may be an increasingly important factor in terms of your future profession.

The decision to further your studies in a foreign country will bring about a number of additional decisions to be made. For example, in which country would you like to study and which learning institution would have your preference?

The Fontys Hogescholen (Fontys University of Applied Sciences, or ‘Fontys’) is one of the largest Dutch universities, with campuses located primarily in the south of The Netherlands. At Fontys, internationalisation is a key issue. We offer English-language education to foreign students who wish to follow complete course programmes and/or to foreign students visiting us as exchange students.

We strive to be an educational institution that ‘allows its students to grow by providing them with the required attention and challenges’. This is also something that you will notice throughout Fontys, i.e. in the course programmes, in the teaching staff, in the personal supervision that you will receive and in the facilities available.
