The minor Programme International Business and Management gives the student an insight into contemporary global business activity, and provides the student with knowledge and skills for managing the internationally operating enterprise. The focus in this minor is on ‘for profit’ companies in the major sectors of the world economy. Relevant disciplines and departments in internationally operating enterprises are discussed from a Western European perspective, and several companies are studied closely for their behavior and performance. Students will take part in three learning arrangements, each of which deals with a specific field in international business and/or international management.
