Fontys international diploma supplement

All students graduating at Fontys will receive a Diploma Supplement free of charge. This is a document attached to the formal Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Certificate. The Diploma Supplement provides a description in the English language of the nature, level, context, content and status of the studies that were pursued and successfully completed by the person named on the original qualification to which this supplement is appended.

The format document is developed by the European Commission, Council of Europe and UNESCO/CEPES to increase transparency of the qualifications and degree certificates in Europe. With the help of the diploma supplement, employers throughout Europe (and the world) will be able to understand and compare qualification from all countries in Europe. Fontys introduced the Diploma Supplement to facilitate and improve the international employability of its graduates.
