Electrical/Electronic Engineering is an international university program intended for the (industrial) professional field. The program offers theoretical subjects and laboratory training (applied science). We offer specializations in Mechatronics/Robotics, Telecommunications and Business Engineering. Engineering programmes start only in September. If you want to start your study in February it will be possible but you will first be enrolled in ICT related subjects.Click here for the programme overview.

Admission requirements

  • International Baccalaureate with mathematics and physics.
  • General Certificate Secondary Education with mathematics and physics.
  • Dutch HAVO or VWO certificate with mathematics and physics.
  • Any equivalent education (to be compared by our institution).

Profession

This program will prepare you to become an engineer in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with specializations in Telecommunications, Mechatronics/Robotics and Business Engineering. The programme offers theoretical subjects and laboratory training (applied science) for instance in computer science, analogue electronics and networks, programming, transmission of electrical energy, physical transport phenomena, telecommunications, digital designing, telematics, product management, mechatronics and many more subjects.

Fontys university is working in close relation with many high-tech companies in the region, i.e. Philips, DAF, ASML. For the students, this relationship gives many possibilities to develop skills in a professional environment.

Electrical and Electronic Engineering is officially registrated as Bachelor Elektrotechniek.

In case you have successfully completed this program you will be awarded the title â€˜Bachelor of Engineering’.
