Study Career Advisor
When you decide to attend a study at Fontys you can count on a personal Study Career Advisor (SCA). This person is your intercessor between your education and your athletic career. Together you will focus on your personal situation and make plans how to succesfully complete your studies within 4 years.
What to choose?
If you dont know what studies you want to attend to, we can lend you a hand. Our deans and our Study Career Advisors are happy to help you out.
Adjust educational program to training schedule
Agreements will be written down together with your Study Career Advisor. When nessecary a teacher will offer some axtra guidance. Also agreements will be made on exams. Specially when potential problems should arise. These agreements have to be made before the beginning of the new schoolyear and often before the new sportseason starts as well.
Adjust educational program to matches and tournaments
If the athlete is absent for a couple of weeks due to his commitments in sports, measures will be taken. This means: planning lessons to catch up, learning at a distance.
Help with traineeship and graduation at compagnies and offices
Fontys International Campus has several contacts with compagnies and offices who understand the difficult position of an athlete and will give a wide berth to continue sports on a professional level.
